Tamera is an health coach dedicated to promoting healthy habits, inspiring hope, and empowering others to live their best lives. When not coaching, she works as a full-time special education teacher at a local high school.

She enjoys strength training classes, pickleball, and spending time with her husband, Ron. Her three-year journey as a health coach has been personally transformative. She believes OPTAVIA’s simple yet effective plans offer a manageable path to weight loss, improved energy, and better sleep.

My health journey began in 2021 as an OPTAVIA client, where I successfully lost 50 pounds. This experience inspired me to become an Independent Certified OPTAVIA Coach, and I’ve been guiding others for the past 3.5 years. 

While initially focused on the OPTAVIA program, I’ve expanded my approach to include a more sustainable “DIY” method for creating a healthy relationship with food. This helps my clients learn essential habits that support their goals and allow them to successfully transition off the OPTAVIA program while maintaining their health. My ultimate goal as a coach is to support my clients in reaching their individual wellness objectives.
